Sunday October 10 - Friendliness all around

Friends are a wonderful invention, I've decided. I really felt the warmth of friendship surround me today. I had the opportunity to help someone out and really saw that it made a difference. Ironically enough (or perhaps not), later on the same day, the same kindness that I had shown was returned back to me.
It is moments like these that outweigh all the negative moments in the world. Something so small can make the biggest difference.

P.S I ventured out to my favorite lake at dusk today and was terrified of the dark woods that I had to walk through. If I hadn't accidentally taken my bike light, I wouldn't have found the trail. Creaking trees sound incredibly dangerous even though it is only the wind.
